On 17 December 1990, the Kestrel Group moved offices into "Pausilippe", a building which it had purchased earlier in that year. "Pausilippe" is located a few minutes from the town centre in a prominent position overlooking Lake Neuchâtel.
The building was designed in 1892-4 in the Italian style by Paul Bouvier, a well known local artist and architect whom the site reminded vividly of Posilippo, the elegant spot overlooking the Bay of Naples. The house was built to the specifications of the proprietor of "La Feuille d'Avis de Neuchâtel" (nowadays "l'Express"), the leading newspaper in the canton and it remained the family's residence for over 90 years, until it was bought by the Kestrel Group.
"Pausilippe" has undergone extensive renovation to provide the most modern facilities. Wherever possible, original architectural features have been retained to preserve the building's charm and character.
